Then Mr. Luka Naglić, UNIDO expert on Cleaner Production, briefly introduced the heat pump technology and the energy saving possibilities for heating of the buildings by implementation of heat pumps. He also compared the prices of different energy sources and discussed the possibilities of industrial applications of the heat pumps.
After that, participants of the Second workshop of "Competitiveness through Cleaner Production" Project visited the "Elektrovat" manufacturing facilities. On the spot they could see for themselves the functioning of Photovoltaic solar collectors and Building Management System that integrates all the control functions of the building in terms of the management of heating, cooling, lighting and control work sun shields and heat pumps.
Then the companies participating in the project presented their activities on the Project.
The first company which presented itself was Turbo Services from Uzice, which is the leader in the sales and repair of turbochargers, visco – fans, visco – clutches, and water pumps on the market of Republic of Serbia and in the region as well. Among these products company offers intercoolers, radiators, thermostats, compressors, and the other air conditioning and cooling parts for passenger, commercial vehicles and trucks The company presented its production process, consumption of energy and raw materials, as well as plans in the field of energy and raw material efficiency.

The training was attended by representatives of five companies from the automotive sector and “Elektrovat” as well as experts of the Cleaner Production Centre.
At the start of the workshop Director of the Serbian Cleaner Production Centre, Dr. Branko Dunjić, welcomed the participants and briefly explained the objectives of the project, as well as program of the Second workshop.
After that, a host company “Elektrovat”, whose primary activities are energy engineering, automation and management of production processes, as well as stage lighting and mechanics for theater, television and film studios, presented itself.
